This is a poster series designed for the famous musician and Jazz composer Charles Mingus. To commemorate this significant proponent of collective improvisation, the sign shown here aims to reflect Mingus’s jazz style’s changeability and casual nature by using abstract forms and diverse colors.

The Second Version
Continuing with the previous idea, I started to redesign my poster, but added a bit more hand-drawn elements, the exaggeration of abstract art and the diversification of elements not only shows the movement of the music but also is a way to represent the changeability and casual nature of his jazz music well.
